Near-Future AR Communication for Enjoying Content Together

At the "STRL Open House 2025," hosted by NHK Science & Technology Research Laboratories from May 29 to June 1, 2025, we collaborated on a concept exhibit showcasing future viewing experiences using AR glasses.

The exhibit demonstrated how AR glasses can spatially expand the content viewing experience and offered the following interactive features:

• Watching the same content while communicating in real-time with a friend located remotely via live video
• Rewinding and replaying scenes you want to watch again
• Inputting your own reactions and experiencing others’ reactions to share the excitement

MESON was responsible for developing the application and supporting the operation of the exhibit.
